The V-to-V Curve.

A framework for markets still taking shape. Distinguish attention from traction and ask whether evidence, enabling conditions and adoption justify commitment.

The model

Volatility to viability.

The curve helps distinguish temporary signals from opportunities capable of becoming durable markets. It is a framework for strategic timing, readiness and commitment.

The V-to-V Curve mapping microbiome trends from volatile signals towards viable markets
A way to ask what kind of commitment the evidence can support today.

Six stages. Different strategic decisions.

Volatile

Signals are visible, but unstable.
Observe.

Emerging

Possibilities attract growing commitment.
Test.

Reckoning

Expectations meet the limits of delivery.
Reassess.

Consolidating

A more grounded direction takes shape.
Focus.

Translating

The capability must work in practice.
Enable.

Viable

The opportunity can support durable commitment.
Commit.

What changes in practice?

An emerging clinical application may have strong studies and enthusiastic pilot partners. That is a reason to test. It becomes a translating opportunity only when the evidence, workflow, payment and operational conditions begin to support routine use. The decision then shifts from where to explore to what must be enabled.

The point is not to score trends. It is to decide what deserves attention now, what needs watching, and what is still mostly noise.
